Bonjour History 468,

I was googling Christianity in William Blake's "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" and accidentally came across a rather cool website that might help people with their Jesus hunt: http://www.virtualmuseum.ca/Exhibitions/Annodomini/entrance-en.html. The website is a virtual museum of Jesuses by the Royal Alberta Museum called "Anno Domini: Jesus Through the Centuries" -- I'm pretty sure it's the same exhibit Dr. Clossey mentioned in his proposal from week one's reading. Anyway, I found some useful info on it about Marc Chagall (my topic for the first paper), so it might be useful for other people.

For those of you how have yet to use up your post-1800 Western/Christian free card, Jefferson compiled a bunch of notes on the gospel of Jesus, retitled The Jefferson Bible. Pretty interesting. I found it through the Virtual Religion Index, under Religion and Christology.

Hey is anyone has Holly Hickman's contact information I would really like to cite and read her paper on "how the image of Jesus Christ was fundamental in the creation of representations of the Prophet Muhammad in the Mongol Empire." If you get this Holly, my email is juli_kyle@hotmail.com
